Eurotunnel

If you are travelling abroad, and taking your vehicle, you may want to consider the Eurotunnel.

The Eurotunnel, travelling between Folkestone and Coquelles, takes advantage of the Channel Tunnel.

When booking your ticket on the Eurotunnel, make sure the staff member is made aware of your disability and any special requirements you may have. You should also repeat this information when you check-in.

Once on the Eurotunnel shuttle, there is no need to get out of your car or, if you are able, you may walk around inside the carriage. At the two passenger terminals, all amenities are on the ground floor.

Assistance can be given during the journey if you need to use the toilet provided you can transfer to one of their wheelchairs specifically designed for this use - very similar to those carried by aircraft.

For further information contact Eurotunnel Customer Services Centre, tel: 08705 35 35 35, website: www.eurotunnel.co.uk
