Queen Elizabeth's Foundation Mobility Centre

Mobility outside the home is vital for independence, particularly for elderly people and people with a disability. The Mobility Centre, which is an accredited member of the Forum of Mobility Centres, offers assessment, the opportunity for product trial, training and advice. We sell nothing but our expertise.

Being able to drive gives us independence and freedom. When a medical condition means that it is best not to drive for a while it can be difficult getting back behind the wheel. When you feel ready, a practical assessment will provide you with the information you need to decide whether it is possible to return to driving safely. For non-drivers, help to achieve independent local mobility as a passenger or through the use of a 4mph pavement vehicle such as a scooter or powered wheelchair can make all the difference.
