Hiya im 40 years old happily married dad of 2 young monsters, i had a series of accidents over the last 11 years that left me disabled, In June this year i was knocked off my motorbike leaving me in hospital for 6 weeks, and 4 operations to put screws and plates in my right arm to keep it together, and on my knee for the same. I am just looking for general chit chat as I am finding it hard spending all my time at home now, I am a good listener but i cant half moan as well lol. Hi there, Let me introduce myself, my name is Steve. I live in Nottingham, which is a city in the Midlands in the United Kingdom. I would very much like to have some female pen-pals to share things with, who have the same beliefs and values as myself. I hate doing these things; never know quite what to say about myself. I have Cerebral Palsy, which basically means that I use a powered wheelchair to get around, have poor coordination of all my limbs, and a speech impairment. I had to recently retire from work as it became too much to physically manage on top of my disability. I am very independent, I have my own flat, but I need some assistance with every day tasks. I am kept busy by my role as Treasurer for the independent living scheme where I live. It is a continual challenge to stay ahead of increasing regulations imposed upon us by our fund providers and Care Standards. The other real challenge is to secure adequate funding for the scheme's future in a climate of fund providers facing cut backs and looking for savings. I enjoy going to the cinema and theatre. I like films that make you think or show the ironies in life. I keep fish and find them relaxing to watch. I like to travel to experience different parts of the world when I can. I have been to Florida, the Caribbean, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Holland, and many of the Greek islands. I am an active member of a local church and in my spare time I have used my home PC to design and maintain a Web Site for them. My Christian faith is very important to me. Hello. I live in the State of N.S.W. in Australia.
