Remote-controlled equipment

Children with learning disabilities and/or sensory impairments will find it difficult to grasp the concept of remote-control switch toys.

They will need to work with toys with integral switches initially and then when they have grasped the cause and effect concept, the switch can gradually become more remote.

Battery toy lead adapters are a cheap and easy way to turn toys with small on/off switches into a toy with a remote control switch of varying types e.g. head/foot/chin/suck-puff, which can be used by a child with limited hand function and physical disabilities.
