Independent Disability Advisory Group - Chair and Advisory Members

Call for Applicants for 2009-10

Transport for London (TfL) is the integrated body responsible for the Capital's transport system. The primary role of TfL is to implement the Mayor of London's Transport Strategy and manage transport services across the Capital.

We are looking for strategic thinkers to support TfL in developing and implementing solutions that meet the needs of disabled people.

People interested in these posts will need to demonstrate that they have experience of influencing at the highest level, and that they can work collaboratively across a complex organisation. These posts are reserved for disabled people who can bring their own experience to the role.

You will be required to work with us around 12 days per year, for competitive remuneration, for a two-year contract commencing January 2009.

For further information about these roles and to obtain an application pack, email idag@tfl.gov.uk, telephone (020) 7126 4601 or visit the TfL website at www.tfl.gov.uk/equality

Closing date: 14th November 2008.

Interviews will be held during December.

We want to be as diverse as the city we represent and welcome applications from everyone regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, faith or disability
