Hello,
I have joined this forum in order to contact people who have a disability, as I am currently writing my university thesis about the accessibility of the internet for people with disabilities. My main concerns are whether social networks (such as Facebook) take into account people with disabilities when modifying the websites (I have a couple of friends myself who are not happy with the changes), and whether other websites in general bear this in mind. I will write about the effects of this from a work point of view, and from a social one.
I would like to interview people that have been affected by the scarce/lack of accessibility of any website (regardless of the use of software packages) or anyone who wants to raise awareness of the importance of equal access to information.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Look forward to hearing from you,
RachelC
