I am going to have to purchase a Riser Recliner Chair and wonder if anyone has purchased from "HSL the chair specialists" who advertise widely in magazines and papers. If so can they please share with me their experiences with this firm.

I went to a private shop, the old type where they gave very personal service. Did not rush me, let me try things out. Let me choose what I wanted. I did not get such a chair in the end as the cost & my ability to use it was limited. I ahve heard good things about HSL but there nearest one was too far for me to get to.

Nearest one is too far for me as well. They have sent me their brochure and their chairs are half the price of chairs by another firm advertising in papers and magazines.

Maybe Google it, such things as HSL user experience, HSL chair review, etc. You may find someone that way.

Sorry but I keep getting this wrong. I am new here and I have made a few mistakes. but i did not make a mistake when i bought my Riser Recliners 5 years ago from HSL, they ar brillinat chairs and still look like they did when they were first delivered, they are used everyday and I would not go anywhere else, the staff are very helpful and the prices are good as the furniture is top quality, but don't just take my word for it, get yourself along and you won't be dissapointed.:o

I have recently purchased my riser recliner chair from this shop (http://www.riser-reclinerspecialist.co.uk/) and I am very satisfied with it. All the chairs they sell are said to be british made as well. If you are unsure of anything just call them, they have very helpful and informed staff working for them. I hope it helps :)

I know this is an old post but I have just signed up to the forum as I am looking for a riser recliner chair for my Dad. They are a lot of money so I want to make sure we get good value for money. Has anyone got any recommendations. I have had a look at HSL. I found a riser recliner chair (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91USe9AttIQ) youtube video that I liked the look of.

Please let me know if anyone has any advise.

Many thanks

James

With any of these chairs it always comes down to the motors they use. Once the motor goes the chair is useless, so it's worth checking replacements are available and not expensive. There always seems to be plenty 2nd hand one's for sale in the free ads, a bargain can be had if your on a tight budget.

Thanks for the reply Wobble1, I went with the http://www.reclinerfactory.com in the end. The chair was expensive but it was very good quality. My Dad is happy which is the main thing.
