Hi, just need some guidance and help please.
So my son was driving our just over a year old car a few hours ago and a car pulled out from a side road onto the main where my son was resulting in a side on collision or a 't-bone' if u call it that.
They had to cut off the roof on the other car, both airbags deployed in our car.
Currently they're in the hospital awaiting scans however they seem to be ok.
Now obviously I will speak to motability in the morning however just a few questions if any of you have been in this situation before:
1) Will motability allow me to take out another car on the scheme?
2) Will my 23 year old son still be insurable - he also has 3 points for speeding.
3) My younger son who is 20 year old, clean license - if we are allowed another car will his insurance be affected?
Thanks any advice appreciated.

You should contact the insurance & Motability straight away. They will sort everything out for you and tell you what to do.
I had a similar situation when my car was totally smashed & not my fault. RSA Motability were brilliant and delivered a temporary hire car the same day.
As long as your son is correctly covered as a named driver and not at fault I don't think you should have any problem.
Whatever happens at least it sound as if no-one is critically injured.

Just a little update, rang motability this morning and gave all the details etc. Now when giving the reg no. they said that they cannot identify the vehicle. I've checked on the askMID website and it seems that the other guy is uninsured.
Does anyone know what happens in this situation? Will this prolong the claim?
I'm just wondering to see if the police even checked if the other guy is insured because they've written that he is with directline.
The usual stuff is happening - waiting for engineers report then they will decide on whether it is repairable, I've added a few photos below if people want to give their opinions.
