So, cutting funding, closing A & E depts, staff shortages, no beds etc, is not enough. This government will not be happy until the NHS is no more. How will fining ambulance services improve handovers? If the A & E dept is full, under staffed and unable to transfer patients to wards, how are Ambulances supposed to hand over patients?

found an interesting article regarding the use of antibiotics to cure 40% back pain but for me not sure why this would work and there are lots of risks from the over use of such medications including host of side affects, sickness to mouth problems etc.

i am diagnosed with chronic pain, have to use antibiotics for a condition i have when it flares up but never have they got rid of my chronic pain so would be interesting hearing views from others.

there were other news articles with concerns to the over use of antibiotics.

OOoo quite excited. Rang the Medical Records office about my request. They are going to send a copy of ALL medical records held for me. They are being posted out on Friday by Courier and will be with me Monday morning and must be signed for etc as they are private documentation relating to my health, hospital etc. Sounds like the £50 could be worth the money (hope so), must point out I didn't pay £50 - it was paid for on my behalf.

Anyone know how far back they hold medical records? Apparently there's a mix of paperwork and a CD (I already have the password).

Excited and also a little nervous to see what has been said?

My husband has health problems which seem to be getting worse. I've tried my best to be supportive, but I also have my own health problems (although nowhere near as severe.) We have kids and its really not easy, but we manage. Tonight, for the first time ever, I have felt like "Can I spend the rest of my life doing this?" The thought made me feel really really upset and I was almost crying. I love my husband and I want to stand by him, but I think I'm just burnt out. He is yet to get a diagnosis, and is currently having tests done.

I don't know how I could ever bring such a subject up with him, it wouldn't even be fair to. He has stuck by me through some really tough time and I feel I should do the same, I just don't know if I'm capable of it :(

Does anyone have any advice please? I know I'm a terrible person for feeling this way so please don't be too hard on me.

I do not really know how to used forums, so am just hoping for the best. I took great interest in FLUFFY BUBBLES comments about the Motobility scheme. FLUFFY tells us that Motability or whatever are deceptive and I am inclined to believe this.

Last year I took out a 3 years lease for a new Agila which in 3 years time will have cost me £7,500 and NO car at the end. I am attempting to back out of this deal because I really cannot afford this in todays climate. However, my husband has been to 3 garages and all say the buying of a used car on Motability has ended. FLUFFY BUBBLES insists this is not true. Who is right? who is wrong? Nowhere can I find the answer.
