    2012 benefit rates

    IF OF ANY INTEREST HERE ARE THE APRIL 2012 RATES AS PUBLISHED BY DWP...(SORRY IF IT HAS BEEN POSTED ELSEWHERE ON THE SITE )

    It does not matter about the increases. Still I am angry about benefit cuts.

    DLA HRM will now be £54.05 per week.

    A little bit cheeky, the government said that we'd get a 5.2% increase.

    £51.40 x 1.052 = £54.07 (rounded to nearest penny).

    Not a massive difference but as they say, every penny counts...

    ..Saving the government £1.04 per year for every HRM award, it's estimated that there are 2 million people on HRM, so a grand saving of £2.08M for the government.

    Yes, it will. More for them & less for us. We are all into together, we keep being told this. Cammy even said the other day the rich have lost much more than we have. Of course, he forgets to say they are still rich, we are not.
