    Mobility car choice

I have been looking at the choices of cars in the motability scheme. I am unable to use my right leg for driving and will need an automatic with a left pedal adaption fitted. I think the driving seat will need to be fairly high off the ground to allow for easy access in and out. Any recommendations as to which cars I should be considering? Thanks for any help.

The best thing to do it try some out, see what suits you best. You can try adapted cars & be assessed to find the one that meets your needs best. You may want to read this Thread: http://www.youreable.com/forums/show...a-mobility-car , & a few other Threads in this Forum.

How about getting an automatic with hand controls fitted?

I too am unable to use the right leg & I used a Citroen Grand Picasso with the electronic gearbox for 3 years with great success.
The drivers seat is just the right height to enable a smooth transfer from a wheel-chair (if you use one).
