ESA50 form!

Hi all i am on E.S.A (SUPPORT GROUP) and have received one of these forms again does this mean i might have to go for a medical with ATOS i hope not the 1st one i went to was awful he didn't listen certainly didn't understand how much pain i was in and tried telling me i didn't have certain conditions i mean HELLO why would i choose to take nearly 20 tablets a day i sound like a chemist lol he was just rude!!!!,but on my second atos medical it was the other way round she listened she seem to understand and when i tried to do the test she could clearly see that i was finding it very difficult and within 7 days i got a letter saying i had been placed in the support group.I got to have the form back by 13/1/12 i could do without the stress of it so now i am wondering what if i do have to have another medical and i get that 1st doctor why do we have to keep filling these horrible forms out,i cant spell certainly cant fill out forms oh its a nightmare i do not know what to do sorry if i have rambled on i really am just so worried (i have spell check on my computer lol).Going to try and get some sleep now thanks for any help.

at this stage no one can say what will happen you send form back they then decide if they have enough information to place you in one or other group without medical , under new esa rules people will get tested more often regardless of group in

some people get award the none support group go to appeal which can take a year win get esa higher rate back dated then a few days later get a new esa50 to fill in, seen on one forum someone getting esa50 while still waiting for an appeal

Make sure you photo copy the form for future reference. All forms that ATOS receive are shredded after three months so they have no paper records of your condition. They'll simply send you the same form to fill out again so having your own photo copy will aid you repeating the answers.

Good advice, best to do that with all forms, especially DLA.

Avery big THANK YOU to all that have replied i shall just be honest on the form and hope that i will be put in the right group!!, isn't it hard for us i feel like i am fighting all the time how much more i can fight is beyond me,mentally i know i am finding it extremely difficult.I have to ask people to fill these complex forms out and i really don't want to ask for help but sometimes i need to if its not one thing its another xx

So long as you are not too honest. I do not mean lie, but we can think certain things do not matter or we are capable of doing certain things when we are not fully capable. Fighting is human, it always has been that way. It is just we fight in a different way to the way our ancestors did. It is not easy having to fill in forms. We have to get the CAB to do it for us. This is another point in your favour actually, the reason you have to seek help with forms. So use it, if you can.

Thank you Stephen i shall book a appointment with them first thing in the new year im also a member of benefits and work they have great advice on how to fill this form out do you think i should fill it out with there advice or get C.A.B to do it? thank you x

YW. Enjoy this time, forget it for a few days. I think the CAB is better for you, if you have a good local one. They can fill it in for you, say in one sentence what we need a paragraph to say. They know how to word it all, & use why you were turned down to your advantage. You need to see who said what & why, so this can help you better with this. I assume with this Benefit you get that info too. Anyway, they can still help better.
