All the £1999 Ap's relate to the manuals. The other prices referred to are for auto's. The only M sport x drive available is the 143PS engine, (the old 18d). If you want the 184PS (the old 20d)in M sport then its only available in s drive at the moment. Of course it could all change again on July 1st.
2047 cars and 588 automatics, a new record. Two extra small car auto's

Can't wait to see what happens on July 1st really hope the x1 m sport auto comes down in price ( doubt it tho lol) would really like the auto but can't afford the AP on it so will more than likely go for the manual.
You never know what will happen, its so difficult to call it but I think the AP will probably be the same. Motabilities pricing sometimes defies logic! Will keep my fingers crossed for you. One thing is for sure, the price will not go up as £2999 is the upper limit. I Will also be interested to see if any 3 series make the list next quarter and to see what AP's the new Volvo V40 and Mercedes A class come in at.
Well Motability have been in touch to tell me I can either start looking for a new vehicle or get a price to buy my vehicle off them or both after 23 August this year.
As the deposit for the Auto Scenic is over £2500 it does seem slightly unfair to me that the more disabled you are the bigger the deposit you need to pay. I've learnt that cars that have done more than 30k rend to have more expensive things go wrong with them. Twinned with reassessment for PIP anytime from Jan 2014 and the North West may be the starting point for assessments, (a little bird told me), it might be safer to keep my old Scenic until after the assessment as you never know with computer medicals - decisions, decisions!!

The same quandry we all find ourselves in, an unenviable decision. The problem with PIP is the uncertainty. I'm sure many who believe they will sail through the assesment will run into problems and some who have been worried by the whole process will pass. I read somwhere that over 300 000 will not be reasessed but simply migrated to PIP. Cannot see which category they fall into. You never know, the Ap could fall next quarter on the Scenic.
Itersesting reading the comments about Insurance after Motability as I was discussing this with them myself last week to ascertain the position which is as many have said on these forums.
I have also been looking at various car broker and other sites and its amazing what deals are available if you shop around and can compromise a little, in some cases over 30% off list price. A contact in the trade told me that if Motability see a significant decline in their fleet with PIP its likely to put more downward pressure on prices as manufacturers look to personal buyers to fill the void, not necessarily ex motability customers but personal customers in general.
