glad to hear the ap is the same on yours always a downer when u save lots of £'s the next quarter
It is. I thought I might be a bit gutted now the 3 series saloon is available as this originally would have been my 1st choice over the 1 series. However the 1 series offers a 120d M Sport for the same price as a 318dSE and more importantly the same price once extras are addded, so its a bit of "swings and roundabouts". In reality I would have been happy with either. Looks like Motability are going to wait until tomorrow morning before updating the website and there is no sign yet of the quarterly guide.
Will be interested to see the prices of the Volvo V40, new A class and to see if the list continues to grow.

Nice looking car with a high spec. I will be interested to see if Volvo have any S60 D2 powershifts, 115HP, reasonable performance but 65.7mpg. Crazy but their D2 diesel does 57.7mpg around town whereas the petrol T3 150Hp does just over half at 29.4mpg. Massive fuel saving. Even a private buyer would surely consider the extra £800 RRP money well spent?
As always when the list comes out there are usually a couple of stand out cars in terms of value. Wonder what they will be?

Just picked up my car yesterday its a volvo s60 d4 se lux which was a d3 on the motability site but volvo has rebadged the d3 as a d4 now what a comfortable car to drive in i recommend this over a 3 series but thats my opinion as the amount of kit u get as standard is great for the price.

Also i found volvo service much more friendly than when i went it to my local bmw dealership .

On comfort I would have to agree. I had a SAAB 9-3, and the seats were the best you could get just like the Volvo. Other manufacturers would do well to follow. I did not test drive any Volvo's this time as the only automatic they had at the time was the V60 which was too big for me but I certainly would have test driven the S60 auto D3 as it comes in SE Lux trim. The nice thing with Volvo's, there are not that many on the road so there's an air of exclusivity.

Welcome to this forum, you have chosen a stunning looking car, which had it been available in Q1 would have been on my short list and would probably have made my final two. I have to say I found my local Volvo dealership very good and also my local BMW dealer for whom, literally, nothing was too much trouble. Merecedes were fine until I said the B class was not for me and they did not even bother responding to my email (2 seperate dealers) and I am still waiting for two Ford dealers to ring me back. As its been almost 5 months now I will not hold my breath!
I hope you enjoy the Volvo. Out of interest what colour and interior colours did you go for and did you choose any options?
