Totally agree. Road test reports are just a guide. Others opinions are just that. Good luck with it.

I have had a good look through the list but cannot see which models have come off. Perhaps others have better memories!

Have had our new car less than 4 weeks now and the air con has malfunctioned! Not great. Will let you know how the MPG stack up against the manufacturers figures when I refuel next time round.. I am getting mid to high 40's in town but over 70 on longer runs.

Four weeks into my S-Max 163 BHP Powershift.
What a car! Very impressed with the auto box, smoothly chnages gera without any jerk between gears. Only way you know its changing gear is by the motors tone.
still early days, but I duid try the sports mode WOW! that was quick|!
700 miles on the clock now and showing average mileage of 38.7 MPG. which I am very pleased with (plus all the "toys" lol )

Excellent news. I have got used to the power now and the accceleration although on a mostly urban route its 30mph (even 20), sports mode is the most fun. Have not tried sport + mode as it switches off the traction control. I tried a poweshift on a Volvo a few years back and recall it was very smooth.
