    Help

    I am a 24 year old girl with arthiritis and was looking for a nissan quashqai and was told i have to be 25, i was searching for a car since november and finally found this one which suits my needs as the heights is great i dont have to bend and the boot is a great size for my wheelchair. should i phone and ask if they can do anything or wait till im 25?

    When are you 25? I would speak to Motobility customer services to see if they can do anything.

    thank you for replying, im 25 next year only turned 24, i will ring tomarrow and see what they say, i no rules is rules but maybe they could make an exception.. lol

    Yes, always worth asking. It may depend on why they have this rule, or they may just say no. You may then want to see if you can challenge that based on your requirements, restrictions & rights.

    hiya stephen, yeah i will give them a ring on monday, hopefully they will relook it im not sure if they can let me though it is breaking the rules, i have never heard of anyone challenging it before.

    I am not sure either. I am not sure why they have this rule, unless it is because they assume people under 25 get into more accidents or something daft like that. Just because no one has challenged it does not mean someone should not. Sometimes it does change things.

    Yeah i am goin to ring first thing in the morning. i will just explain my situation, i never even new about the changes.. Total nightmare and im sure there will be more changes brought in.

    What about the Skoda Yeti SE? 1.2 and allowable for under 25's?
