Medical for esa cancelled?

there are many of us on here who have just recently lost our benefits thanks to this government so called cuts and all i can say is that those of us on here will feel for what you are going through, it is very heartbreaking.

atos medical have a very poor reputation especially regarding their nurses and doctors and on here i have banged on and expressed concerns about how they operate. yours is just another example of been put through their disgraceful system.

i don't know enough about esa to advise on the in and outs and feel others will come on soon but in the mean time you are fully entitled to see the medical report this so called nurse chucked in to the dwp, get on the phone on Monday and ask for a full copy of this report plus any other material they have used, also get some help to such as CAB to assist in dealing with the dwp.

Yes i will be ringing esa and apealing i have my long awaited rheumatolgy appointment next sunday (private) so hopefully that will help a bit i will be going to cab as well .

Sorry to hear this. Agree - It's disgraceful system

You need to get GL24 and send it off within 1 month, I think you need to get a sicknote from your GP and send it off too. Hope the CAB or Welfare Rights can help you with ESA Appeal and give you some advice where to go next.

I have got my ESA Medical next Friday, I am really dreading it so much.

It's called an MED6

Trouble is that The DWP are a law unto themselves. They can and do reject them!

Well had my Medical today lasted 1 hour in total it was a nurse who did it the phyiscal examanation only lasted around 5 mins the rest was questions ..how do you shop how do you sleep how did you get here things like that

Had mine a couple of weeks ago.

Must admit it was a complete waste of time. As you've already said, all they really do is go through the ESA50 and ask you to do a few movements.

The nurse who I saw didn't have a clue about my tablets and had to read the leaflets you get inside the box!

Even worse was the fact that despite having a serious heart condition, she didn't even listen to my heart!

Sorry to hear you werent awarded esa, I really hope you are successful in your appeal though, its just a shame so many people are having to fight so hard with appeals and tribunerals.

When you say you werent on ib just income support and sda is the sda because you are on mrc or hrc or dla? if so have they stopped this too?
