    state pension

    hi my partner will be getting his state pension soon , he used to get pension credit for me and him , if he gets a part time job how will affect his state pension how much can he earn before they take into account the wage

    Working does not effect the state pension, but it will effect any tax, as State Pension is a taxable to, but is not taken directly off State Pension. So any tax code should be worked out with him being in receipt of state pension. Hmrc should be able to advise on that.

    Pension Credit, if still in payment, will disregard the first £10 and then takes the rest into account
