Motoring news, reviews, vehicle sales and directory services for the mobility market is the focus of a new website launched this week by charity Mobility Choice, organisers of the annual national Mobility Roadshow.
www.MobilityChoiceMotoring.co.uk aims to provide a wealth of news and information for both members of the public and motoring trade, together with a service for buyers and sellers of pre-owned adapted and converted vehicles, as well as a comprehensive product and service directory.
“We have often been asked if we can extend the services and information that we provide at the Mobility Roadshow,” said Jacqui Jones, Executive Director, Mobility Choice. “This new online motoring portal draws on nearly 30 years’ experience researching and delivering mobility events, services and information for the motoring needs of disabled and older motorists.”
Over the next few weeks additional features will be added, such as advice on choosing conversions and adaptations for all types of vehicles and guidance for young aspiring motorists and newly disabled people returning to driving.
A £10 discount on pre-owned car sales ads celebrates the launch. One advertisement costs just £20 for three months during March (standard price £30 from 1st April). Both private and trade advertisements are welcome and can be placed via the website.
User reviews of all types of vehicles are also welcome on the site, whether standard or adapted vehicles, WAVs or drive-from-wheelchair models - just complete a simple online form.
The Directory Service will include a wide spectrum of mobility-related products and services alongside listings that are relevant to accessible motoring.
