Thanks Phaedra, I'll start it off with these bargains I found.
MINI Countryman Cooper SD 4x4 with Chilli Pack now £1499 was £1999 (Manual £1399)
New Nissan Qashqai 1.6 Auto Tekna (all the bells & whistles) £1799 (Manual £1249)
New Nissan Qashqai 1.6 Auto N-TEC+ (some of the bells & whistles) £1149 (Manual £599)
I've currently drive a Manual Qashqai Tekna and it's an excellent car and I highly recommend it.
The MINI was a good drive but suffered excessive road noise, however it has such funky good looks that I think I may have to choose it over the Ford CMax, which is obviously a very boring car.
Hi Paul,
The 3008 crossover is terrific...............AP also low

VW Golf Match 1.4TSi DSG auto £649, fantastic value for low mileage users. Volvo S60 SE Lux Auto £2999, fantastic spec and a £31 grand car.
Will have a look later to spot others.
yet again the roundabout moves :-0
As I had not had time to list thge various sections, I am not sure where they have gone from but autos are now down to 552 models.
Mondeo is about to be replaced soon, S60 is fairly new and I think looks better.
S60 is not very large inside compared to the Mondeo. Whilst the Mondeo will be changed in a years time or thereabouts, (this Volvo from 2010,) this is still the better driving car of the two, lauded by all motoring magazines, whilst the Volvo, based on old technology, has a noisy deisel engine and a less satisfying ride. Add to that the better spec of the Mondeo better fuel consumption and it's a much more rounded car. Can't agree about the looks, the Volvo has too many sharp edges and looks unfinished at the back. The only thing going for Volvo is its perceived safety.
The Volvo "Floating centre console" used on both the S & V 60's look horrible and the heating switches are far too complicated for what it does
Still it will look better than the future Chinese developed Volvos to come.....
