Well, I've almost made my decision.
I've made an appointment for tomorrow morning with the lovely motability specialist at Ford so I can order either the CMax or Grand CMax, with a couple of options I haven't decided on yet.
You'd think (and my wife does) that after 18 months of looking for my next car, It would have been easy to come to a decision.
At least I know it's going to be a Ford, and I'm sure I will have decided on everything by 11am tomorrow including what colour I want!
Thanks to you all for your help especially Paul1234 and Warkman, who I feel a close bond with now after chatting on here for months.
Hope you all have a great weekend.
Paul

Good luck with your choice tomorrow and please let us all know how you got on and the final decision. Sometimes there is so much choice it makes the decision process that much harder.
We should take delivery of our car in about 11 weeks all being well and I have to say, 2 weeks into the order I would not change anything.
Well after chatting to my wife who holds the purse strings, we've finally ordered our new car...
Ford CMax 2.0D Titanium Powershift with Convenience Pack (Parking Sensors & Park Assist) and Privacy Glass in Lunar Sky.
The total should have been £2270 but I did some haggling with the options and got it down to £1992.50
- The Convenience Pack retails at £525 and I got it at £262.50 (50% off)
- The Privacy Glass retails at £150 and I got it at £135
So not a bad saving, and really happy with the dealership.
I'm very tempted to buy the car after my lease, which is why I added some options.

I just hope that the 3 year lease contract is honoured, and that we dont get the car taken away before the contract is up. Otherwise, they may not be a opportunity to buy it. I am too thinking of buying my next car of Motability when it expiries in 2015. I should be getting my new Golf on June 1st.
Ford first said 10-12 weeks for delivery but have given me a date of 31st May which is just under 7 weeks although the dealer said it will probably be mid-June, which is still only 9 weeks.
Does anyone know if we can claim VAT relief on the options?
I've also specified a twin-flip left foot accelerator and a quick release steering aid.

Not for standard fit extra's. I made some enquiries myself. Possibly on the others if they are specifically to help with your disabilities. Looks like you will have your new car before me. I have not even seen mine in the flesh yet, have seen other variants and hopeefully the dealer will have one early next month to look at. What will we all do now? I must admit I will keep a keen look at the new car scene. Perhaps take up a hobby or see if What Car and others want a new car tester!
