ETAC UK STRENGTHENS POWERCHAIR ASSESSMENT TEAM WITH TWO NEW RECRUITS

Etac UK, the leading supplier of cutting-edge Scandinavian Etac powerchairs, is delighted to announce the appointment of two new professional assessors, Debbie Farrell and Craig Sweetlove, who further enhance the company’s specialist sales and support network across the country.

Etac has been a world-leading Scandinavian healthcare specialist for over three decades and its high level of personalised care and support is renowned globally. With its UK division based in Hook, Hampshire, Etac designs, manufactures and supplies high quality assistive devices which improve the daily lives of tens of thousands of people. The provision of its market leading Balder and E800 series powerchairs has now been strengthened by the addition of these two new assessors who both have equally impressive experience in the healthcare and mobility market.

Debbie is now responsible for supporting customers in the north of England and before joining Etac UK, was a Registered General Nurse for 15 years. She thoroughly enjoyed her front line duty at hospitals in Macclesfield, Leeds and further afield in Toronto, Canada, however as time progressed she wanted a new challenge. She subsequent spent 10 years working for a renowned moving and handling product specialist before joining Etac UK. Her care-related career has given Debbie the perfect credentials for the new role within Etac UK and is relishing the position as she explains: ‘Building professional relationships with my patients and clients is so important for me. The sense of achievement I gain from helping people improve the quality of their lives is immeasurable. I meet so many inspirational people every week and it is fantastic for me to prescribe powerchairs such as the E800 series which will deliver reliability and functionality far beyond any other brand in the market.”

Craig is now assisting new and existing customers located in the middle of England and brings to Etac UK 15 years of mobility product experience. Not only does Craig have excellent knowledge regarding condition-specific client needs, he also has an outstanding engineering background as he serviced touring rally cars for several years and was part of a pit crew. Craig comments: “I decided to join Etac UK because of its strong brand reputation and the high quality powerchairs it supplies. I am enjoying the camaraderie of the assessment team and look forward to helping clients benefit from the latest solutions in Etac inclusive technology”. Outside of work, Craig is married with two children and enjoys a busy family-orientated lifestyle. Even so, he still manages to watch his beloved motorsport on TV now and again!

When asked to comment on the importance of Debbie and Craig joining the team, Ian Carter, Etac UK Managing Director concludes: “We believe the reliability and quality of our products is market-leading and the team here are fully committed to delivering service and support that reflects this standing in the sector. Debbie and Craig will continue this mission ethos whilst demonstrating the life changing benefits that can be provided by our latest range, the E800 series. Through specialist training, professional advice and understanding their ‘duty of care’, we can reassure all customers who choose an Etac powerchair that they will experience outstanding mobility, reliability, functionality and comfort which is synonymous with high quality, ergonomic Scandinavian design.”
