    New SIM only contract bargain

My 12 month EE SIM only deal is due up now so I've tanken out a Virginmedia SIM only deal for £5 a month.
It's 2Mb of data, 1000 minutes of talk and unlimited texts.

EE offered me the same deal to stay (would normally cost £9.99).

What's funny is that I'm now on a flexible 30 day rolling tariff that still uses the EE 4GEE network.

My advice when it comes to changing your tariff - haggle - no tariffs are set in stone.

I assume that’s a typo with the 2Mb of data as that won’t get you very far but 2 GB of data will.

    You're right 2GB of data.

I usually visit the web when connected to a free wi-fi zone in a cafe or wi-fi through my home router.
Today I went to Starbucks and was presented with a free standard latte. I was picked out at random - lucky me!

I didn't call Virginmedia they called me to offer this outstanding deal - then again I do have broadband, a standard landline and the 'full house' digital TV package - although I pay a lot less than the advertised package.

I have requested their new digital set-top box called the TV V6. http://www.virginmedia.com/shop/tv/v6.html It goes hand in hand with the new router they supplied for free.

Ive just got taken out a deal through carphone warehouse of £15 a month new samsung phone unlimited calls and texts 1gb of data. Shame EE doesnt work in my area very well and when ive travelled throughout the country the signal with them has been very poor since they did the merger and made the coverage worse despite what they may say.
