    Silly Question Really

    I know they try not to put "indefinate" on awards any more is that why they put "open ended", whats the diff?

    I assume you are talking ESA here as PIP awards have a definite end date.

    To answer the question there is no difference.

    A lot of people make the mistake of thinking that 'indefinite' means 'forever, never ending'.

    It doesn't, 'indefinite' means 'for an unknown or unspecified period of time'. (Look it up in a dictionary).

    I think that is why they changed it to 'open ended'.

    No nuke, it was for PIP open ended to be reviewed in 10 years time, it wont matter coz Ill be dead in 10 years. Its a strange one
