Yes but how much would she know about all different illness and with my report it was way of from what she asked and what she actually
has written, It is little wonder the health system is in the state it is and also she looked like she was suffering from a hangover as well.
Remember this was just after St Patrick's Day holiday.????

The doctor who came to see me was also showing the same details on the gmc register. (not on specialist register not registered as a g.p)

they are doctors who hold a licence to practice but like what you mention Williej i also questioned about not knowing enough about my conditions to make a reasonable judgement.

if we see our own doctors if they aren't sure then they will send us to see a specialist.

our doctors look at our medical conditions where as these atos doctors aren't really looking at what we have, they are looking at what we can and can't do, esa is a prime example of this.

the trouble people are getting is what we are telling these doctors isn't what many of them are reporting back to the dwp, which is what you have found williej.

i have yet to wait and see what was said and recorded in front of me and what was sent back to the dwp.

p.s sorry if my message sounds a bit jumbled i have just got up

I still come back to what I have said on other threads. We have GPs, we have specialists. Why do we need to see another doctor or ATOS? We see these people & what they ask us & say is rarely related to what we need or our issues. This then suggests they do not accept what our own medical people say, who are more often than not specialised, hence the word specialist. The doctors, or even nurses, they send us too are not specialists, so why? Dare I suggest it is again about saving money?

Ditto, Had the same problem looked for the doctor on GMC coming to see me and not on any special list, The Atos doctor was here at my bungalow for 15 to 20 mins and 5 mins of that went to toilet, came and sat back down never got a pen or piece of paper out of breif case, looked at me and said you will never work again, I know that have doctors consultants and spec letters to prove that, But i received report last Friday and i was in tears so many lies he has told am very upset about all this, So all i can say is watch yourselfs.
On my report he wrote that he came to see me for an hour and he also arrived half an hour early, The people who live opposite came and saw me yesterday and guess what Atos they have a cc tv.

This doctor never made any notes? I would consider this a very serious case of incompetence at the very least. If you have any proof they lied you can use this. Save the video & consider reporting this doctor. Seek advice from CAB, Law Centre, solicitor.

I am not sure on the rules here. But there are several judgements made by Higher Tier Tribunals that help your case with the time of the doctors visit. Including my wife's. The amount of time they spend with you is significant to making an accurate assessment. Am I allowed to quote CDLA numbers on here. Which you can use to ask the Tribunal Service for copies of judgements from.

I found this site after finishing my wife's appeal and being successful in that. I decided that after the experience I had gained during the long time it took to win her case I would like to help other people if I could. I saw so many people reduced to tears at the Tribunal Centre whilst waiting for my wife's case to be heard. And was not impressed with the professionalism of the 'experts' used by the DWP to win their cases. We have to help each other because we have had 2 governments now that want disabled people gone from society for financial reasons. We also have a national media that supports this attitude. It is the responsibility of the strong to protect the weak.
