Probably to check you are still ill or to try and shift you over to pension credit for the last 10 months before you are ready to move onto retirement pension
im already on pesion credit also dla.its not a medical it say its to check im getting the correct amount of housing benefit and pension credit.they want to see 2 type of indentification and bank statements.i have nothing to hide,its just i have never heard of performance measurement department in the dwp and also they are based in nottingham,and i am in brighton.
Nothing to worry about at all. A local worker will visit to ensure that you are getting all the correct help you are entitled to. Bank statements are to work out if you are able to manage on the income you have.

You could shut the ICB claim down and Pension Credit would simply increase that benefit to replace it. I had some one on pension credit who did just that after speaking to pension credit and was told it would be OK to cease claiming ICB.Originally Posted by hiker48

This is interesting as when i approached Pension Credit about my IB and asked if i could cancel and then reclaim as Pension Credit i was told to sign off and then claim?? Im 62 next month.
Can someone Please clarify. Please reply if possible with a large font due to my sight Thank you.
