Life time award

Hi all,
I am just wondering in 1999 after a bad accident at work in 1997 I had to go to a big medical, and then I went to an Industrial Injury meeting which I was unsure what it was about only to be told that after the medical I had which was for DLA they also had awarded me the low amount of Industrial Injury Benefit for life and it states clearly for life. due to (The loss of faculty is impaired and lower back movements and you are 14% disabled from xxxx to life because of the loss of faculty ) Now what I would like to know or if anyone can help, can I use this as part of my tribunal to help fight an atos home medical as I will never be 100% ever again.Have lots of medical evidence to prove.

I think you need current medical evidence, not past, if you mean to show you are disabled & in need of DLA. If you mean to argue you should not have to have a medical, then no.

Thanks Stephen,I have HRM but had never ever had care and I now need it, My 1st tribunal was adjourned for me to have a home medical on the grounds that the DWP would like more evidence and also were disputing my ability to walk as I can do about 30yards but I am always in pain 24/7 and it is chronic not just pain as I have damage between my 4th and 5th vertebrae also my sciatic nerve was badly damaged and the chance of walking after an opp was 50/50 so I left opp.My next appeal is in front of the same panel.
