At this time of the year, why why why.

Argh, our boiler has just been condemned. Luckily have found someone who can fit a new one tomorrow at an average price.
    Not eligible for any grants.
Could do without it because I have had to pay for a foot operation privately, it is not done on the NHS now due to cutbacks. Was causing me problems walking and putting strain on my hips and knees. I have had to buy a new scooter as well.

Why does everything come at the most expensive time of the year?

You are not alone............TV licence, car tax, insurance, coal, all due at the same time wiping out my next fortnightly payment of £263 due on the 24th. Good job the supermarket are reducing past sell by goods, just bought enough potatoes, carrots, sprouts, parsnips and broccoli at 29p a bag to see me through.
