Dont you just Grrrrrrrrrr @ the DWP

Got a phone call from the DWP asking why my saving had gone down
What I meant to tell them was as you have reduced my benefits then I had to make up the shortfall from somewhere hence my savings going down. You cant win

Yes they do but they also track it via routes such as the fraud act and some kind of data cross matching I think its a joke you can win with them I once had a load of hassle with my student loans being paid into the bank with them.

Think sometimes your better off not having any savings at all!!!

I had the fraud people come to see me last January, I had received compensation the year before, it was under the £6,000 so nothing was done about it, they wouldn’t tell me how they knew However I have spent it all now as my benefits have been cut while waiting on a paper based appeal for over a year now. That money was for my grandson. I think it’s disgusting that you haven’t got any privacy with anything anymore! Even the Council want to see your bank statements and go through what you have spent and where.

The Inland Revenue know what goes into your bank account , or if you have paid any tax recently.

To be fair, I think they have a right to know. If you have nothing to hide then why worry
