    Question Hiya and heeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!!!!

Yikes.. Am a bit pants at the whole computermebob thingy, but have figured out how to do hello's!! OK, as the title suggests I need HELP.. Hmmmm where do I start?? OK here's the skinny (have no idea what it means, heard it on tellybox and thought it was funny). I have for last 14yrs been in receipt of initially incapacity benefit which then turned into ESA, and DLA higher rate mobility and lower rate care, all because of two ankles in one foot - long story short, hospital took wrong bone out. Many years of problems surgeries skin grafts etc here I am. DLA stopped Nov 11 did not renew in time, new claim made but no Med evidence for new claim as existing claim still live at that point... then follows medical by lovely ATOS, who's "healthcare professional" spent whole assessment telling me about her daughters Xmas present (medical 30/12/11). After this came the esa disallowance, via telephone call on 13/01/12 no letter, just call. Many wrangles later find myself in hospital with acute osteomyelitis.. had surgery as tendon, bone and skin necrotic.. now attached to vac in wheelchair. Am not entitled to dla.. esa just been reinstated at assessment phase rate. What can I do?? Have 2yr old son and NO pennies, who can help????

Appeal. I am not sure if you can win or what rates you would get, but appeal right away. Contact the CAB or another local welfare service for advice. The CAB, if you have a good one, are experts in this area. They can help you acquire the evidence you need & help word the appeal in such a way as to say what needs to be said. The CAB can help advise on any other benefits you might be able to claim.

Talking Thank you for taking the time to listen.

It does what it says on the tin. Thank you for taking the time to read my post and thank you for the reply Appeal appeal appeal!!! Have spoken to AM and MP who have both agreed to support me with this, but is brilliant that there is somewhere where you can just say Argggghhhhhhhhhhhh and actually write stuff down, is very cathartic. I know my situation differs to most but regardless of gender/age/umm cannot think of a third - sorry, it is always nice when somebody even in cyberspace, most USUALLY in cyberspace bothers about me (so to speak). So thank you very much again x

I know what you mean & YW. Sometimes we just need to know someone actually does understand & not just says they do.

    Hello Rebecca24,

If only we could all say it together in ear-shot of the shower of ******s who make these distressing decisions
