    Hi
I am new on here and looking for answers myself but just thought I would add my tuppence worth...experience so far. I found the questionaire really hard to fill in and had to do it in stages. I phoned twoce to say I would need more time and that was OK. Then I gathered so much information...everything I could think of from photocopies of prescriptions, letters of support form gp, psychaitrist, hospital, copy of my medical records. The friend I took with me is a senior social worker so when I got anxious or went to say...no I am ok really...he stepped in with...well you are not actually ok are you etc It went well, I got it and the woman who did the medical was quite nice and more or less told us what she would be recommending at the end of the medical.

Well I received my ESA50 Medical Report. I received 30 points, the Doctor did mention in the letter "I advise that a return to work could be considered within 22 months. These are long standing problems and any return to an appropriate workplace is likely to take time" What does mean exactly?

I am now confused whether I should appeal or not to be in the support group. Believe it or not the doctor did wrote a decent and honest "personalised summary statement" about my disability etc. (No lies).

I am on ESA IR. I really don't know Dave, If I should be in the Support Group or not. So If you get certain points, do you get put into the support group? I really don't fully understand about ESA points etc.

I have got my first appointment with the ESA new personal adviser next Tuesday, which I am not looking forward it. Maybe I'd ask there and then about what my chances are appealing to be in the SG.

*sighs* I feel like a right plonker, I completely missed my appointment with my new personal adviser today. A hour ago, I looked at the JC letter, I thought the 23rd of July (on a Tuesday, tomorrow) I am panicking now that they will stop my money, I don't think they will believe me, about the mixed up with the dates. I have been so anxious and worry about the appointment, I guess my mum will have to phone up first thing and explain.

    Just a quick update.

I had my first ESA Wrag Interview Adviser (I did found him a bit pushy, but he was a bit sympathetic) last week. It wasn't as bad as I thought, basically we just talked about my disability issues. Also we discussed about going on Self Esteem/Lack In Confidence Courses (If I want to in the near future) and volunteering (1 or 2 hours a week) to build up my confidence wise, and gave me some leaflets to look at. I am quite pleased that my next appointment with the ESA Adviser is early December.

Thanks you for all your replies on here.
