I have been on incapacity benifit and received my forms to fill out to be reassessed for ESA , i have anxity and depression . Over the years that i have been on incapacity i have always got somebody to help me fill in the forms , i think the organisation was called pathways , my local CAB put me in touch with them anyway i rang the number that have helped me fill in the forms in the past to help me fill in the ESA form only to be told that pathways dont exist anymore but i can make an appointment with a local adviser who help people fill in these forms . The local adviser spoke to me terrible . One of the questions was about going outdoors alone one of the options was about going outdoors alone" it varies " which applies to me but the man ticked "has no problems" he turned to me and said "well you managed get here ok today " . he was really ignorant with me .He also asked me why was i not seeing a phycastrist (sorry dont think ive spelt that right ) he said if my depression was that bad i would be . It was a massive thing for me to see him i was really nervious especially with my condition , i just went for help to fill in my forms . He told me straight that they will send me for a medical and hes pretty sure they will sign me off . I havent got a clue who he was but im pretty sure hes not a medical expert .
