    Carer on DLA?

    Can a person in receipt of DLA be a carer to another individual who is in receipt of attendance allowance?

    some people can be depends why they get dla and there not being a conflict

    They can get the carers allowance for each other if each person has the carers component of DLA

    mid 40's is on the higher rate of motability but no care component the older person has attendance allowance

    If there's no care component for the person on DLA then they couldn't claim carer's allowance from each other in my view but check it out via the benefits helpline.

    i think its the fact the person is on higher AA they need caring for the person doing the care gets mobility

    If they get AA why can they not get Care Component?
