and individual in their mid 40's in receipt of the higher mobility component caring for an elderly multi stroke victim in their 70's in receipt of attendance allowance

They can get the carers allowance for each other if each person has the carers component of DLA

If there's no care component for the person on DLA then they couldn't claim carer's allowance from each other in my view but check it out via the benefits helpline.

i think its the fact the person is on higher AA they need caring for the person doing the care gets mobility
