hi i had the news yesterday that i did not need a medical as they had enough information so i asked the question which group was i in they stated they didnt make the decision it was the dwp but on atos website it clearly states that doctor at atos makes the decision on the group can anyone help with this

atos give advice by law DM at dwp make the decsion

I agree with DW, it's the DM at DLA who decides.
You can request a copy of the ATOS form but I think you should just wait and see, I know being in suspense for possible weeks is hard but hassling them some times does you no favours either, they don't like it.

ATOS flip a coin, DWP DM then put some in one group & some in the other, without looking.

If they didn't ask you to a medical then I'm guessing there's enough evidence to put you in the Support Group. Your Doctor is obviously on your side!!
