NEW to ESA been put in support group... i have a few questions?!

hey ... im new to this! so if i ask silly questions.. apologies! ..anyways... i got a phone call yesterday stating i am in the support group for the next 6 months.. and will be getting paid £119 now im confused because i dont think i have paid enough national insurance ... and also i thought that i would get much less... infact i thought i would be recieving about £90 ... so is there a mistake or is this a nice pleasant suprise? ... any help would be great ... im soooo confused! :\

There is NI contribution based ESA which is normally for 365 days. If you haven't paid enough NI then you get Income based ESA which is calculated on any income coming into your household.
Have you just been transferred from IB to ESA?
You should have a letter from DWP stating what ESA you are on.
