I've tried washing all my bedding, vacuuming my room, and dusting. I even close my room off at night since I don't have screen and live in a warm climate. The bites are really itchy and often cause a bit of swelling and redness. My boyfriend sleeps right next to me and not once has he gotten a bug bite during the night, which seems a bit strange.

If you do suspect bed bugs then you need to consider getting some help as these things can get every where (saw a documentary where hotels were infested)
suggest contacting your local council for help and advice.
We had a bad infestation of fleas and in the end we ended up having to destroy bedding, carpets, clothing etc. was i glad to move out, did feel sorry for the workers who were gutting the place.
we did have a slight infestation here but the source was removed as it turned out a neighbour had left some cats. a good spray and got the situation under control.
with the summer i still spray things to keep bugs at bay.

I'm afraid there are things called noseeums, no really, Google it, they are literally unseeable. If you live in a warm climate then it could be any manner of mini beasts. They tend to have breeding seasons e.g. mommy mini beasts will be feeding which makes the biting period more worse. There are all manner of remedies but for me non seemed that good, if you have no screens then may I suggest a mozzie net.
Once a friend of mine also told me about the same symptoms that he is being bitten by the bugs at night and her girl friend is not....
But when we saw his hands or legs there was no mark of the bugs bite.... He keeps on saying that the bugs bite him every night...
We went fora doctor and he recommended him for a psychiatrist and he said that these are the early symptoms depression...
But he is now fine and he stayed at a nursing home for a while....
I m not disrespecting any one..... I m just sharing my experience
If u are having any bite marks then these marks would definitely be of bugs and if not then i must say that u should have a consult with doctor...

It really a bad spot on your all skin and I think you really need best treatment for this. My sister also had faced this problem and doctor offer her then Retin-A cream to get rid of this spot. It really worked for her skin and almost dark spot remove from her skin. You can also try for this cream or you can also use other beauty cream for your skin If you know about other good skin cream.
