    This is Scarey.

    Folk who depend on their motability car stand to lose it if they are more than 28 days in hospital, in accumulative stays not just on one admission.

    It is scary if they get that through.

    However, the wording is important here. "more than 28 days in hospital" doesn't include any outpatient appointments, only over night stays or where you are kept in for surgery.

    I know of quite a few disabled people who have numerous stays in hospital because of their illness. This will affect those who are most in need of their own transport.
