A similar situation was covered in last nights' Dispatches programme on Channel 4. ATOS examiners are told to disregard oral chemotherapy treatment. I don't know if the same rules apply to oral Hep C treatment but would guess it is likely.
A very interesting programme by the way which is being repeated on Thursday at 2.30 am. Panorama - which followed it on BBC 2 - was also about ATOS and is being repeated as well.
Hep C has a scale of severity and treatment, I think there could be a case of not even getting ESA at all as some people carry on in full time employment.
You must notify ALL relevant bodies as to this illness due to it's transmittable nature.
