    Questions please

    Hi all,

    I am 63 September 2012
Registered blind, have Ostehoarhritis in all joints,

    receive IB, MRC, HRM, CTB

wife has retired, and has an underlying entitlement to carers allowance for me.

when I stopped work in 2005 and claimed IB after 26wks sick pay,

I had paid a full 40yrs worth of National Insurance contributions stamps, including all the Graduation payment wwhen they where in force.

    Now my Questions

If/when I am migrated to ESA from IB, for 2yrs until I retire at 65, in Sept 2014,

will I be placed in the Contribution or the Income related section ?

    any ideas anyone

if you are on IB CB then you will get ESA CB for 12 months then depending on your wifes income you might or might not get ESA IR you need to seek expert advice

Have you looked at whether you could claim Pension Credit as a couple?
