Write to your MP ref. Pension age

The changes to the pension age, being made by the condems, which they said they would NOT implement, mean that women aged 56/57 now have to wait for 2 years longer, than the already increased time they were due to wait, to receive the state pension. This age group are being affected most, although so is everyone else to some degree.

My friend age 60, 61 this year, has already retired and receives the state pension now, i am 56 and will have to wait until i am 66!! to receive mine, if they implement this. So will everyone in the future.

So please register your concerns with your MP, you can do this by ,by googling contact my mp and then entering your post code, on the "contact them" email site. Or get in touch with them any other way you prefer. There is still a vote on this and the more MP's that are told, the more will vote against it. labour although they instigated changes themselves, are against this further increase.

    THANK YOU, Jan

I keep tell my husband I need to write another letter to him, last time I directed it more at the change of law with the one year ESA rule, as I had found out all people on SDA (old type, not to be confused with the severe disability add on ) were going to be transfered to contributory ESA. However I never really mentioned my situation so when I write to him, I will include the pension age jump too...cos at this rate my poor husband have to keep me for 14 years...

    Hope you are ok xxxx
