My son is 17, severely autistic , he gets DLA middle, low rate mobility, I get carers allowance. He is attending an access course at a local college , funded by the social work centre.
Apparently, he would of been able to claim ESA since he was 16 years old but this benefit has been stopped in April this year for 16-18 year olds. Is this correct , or should he still be able to claim as he has learning difficulties etc and is unable to be employed. Thanks in advance
