What are your rights in benefit investigations?

I received a letter today to say that Incapacity now ESA had evidence to state I had a period of work between 2007 and 2010. Goes on to say they have included details from the employer and if I accept that I did this work could I answer the questions on the attached sheet. such as please provide the dates you worked, days of week worked, normal working pattern ?

If they have enough evidence already why are they asking for more?

At this stage I have requested an FOI but am unsure as to what other rights I have?

the reason they ask is the same as when police have info you broke a law....they give you a chance to come clean

call cab or some other charity
