    BBC Breakfast News

I have steam coming out my ears after hearing the segment on breakfast news about we lazy scroungers.

Apparently pilot tests showed that 70% of us are fit for work. No mention of the massive amount of appeals that arose from those pilot schemes. No mention that the questions asked on the form have changed radically since the pilot scheme. Very little mention of the people assessed fit for work who are clearly not.

The BBC is Cameron and Clegg's bitch, toeing the government line.

No mention of that people will lose ESA after a year either if they are in the work group... despite that there is little chance of some people being offered a job.....Scope missed out on an opportunity to say much more... and it is removing a pen from your top pocket with either hand not both hands isn't it ?

It was all a load of lies by the government as usual making out it was for our good and not about money WHAT A LOAD OF HORSE MUCK !!!

OK lets really look into it, I'm disabled now, I have scars on both legs where the bones popped through, I have lost 55% of the muscles from my legs through MRSI. I have had three disc's removed from my spine and I have large area of bone. I lost the use of my bowel and bladder and I have lost all sexual function, in fact I'm classed as Paraplegic. I can now walk a short distance and I mean a short distance then i use a wheelchair or I use crutches.

I have problems with my hands and arms, can I work answer yes if the right job came along.

You all saw this lady this morning on Breakfast, do any of you think she was picked at random, she walked without an Aid, she went to show us she can take water, she picked up a glass, she turned on a tap with her bad hand, and she walked back, she was then seen lifting both her legs eager to show us all she was disabled, do you really think so, because I think that was a set up.

I use to get sick and tired of people coming into the charity telling me they could never work, and you say why not because nobody will employ me, you say you have a nice tan do you want a cup of tea, then I spend twenty minutes looking at photographs of them skiing or prargliding, then they realize what they had just done and storm out.

How many of us cannot really work, how many of us could work part time in the right help was put in place, how many of us feel as if we could do something, what help do we really have to get back to work.

    Answer none at all.

Well of course they are not willing to lose money, and I doubt they be interested in employing you, but your the one who has lost the money because your JSA is £65 a week, not £96.

lets make this simple this is about one thing and one thing only getting people on IB down to the same rate as people on income support.

For example lets just say I'm moved into the work group after a year I will lose all my benefits because of means testing, my wife gets a pension this would mean i get no benefits at all.

Richard well yes what happens if they do give you a changing room, and a person to help you, now you have met the requirements for you going onto JSA.

So what are you saying, if you can get out of bed in the morning you can go to work, seems to me there are too sets of rules,
normal healthy person – wakes up in pain, phones in sick
disabled person – in pain 24/7, that doesn't matter you should be use to it - go to work

for those with incontinence problems if you soil yourself at least once a week under the new regs you should qualify for the support group of ESA.[Actually proving it is another matter]!
