Some Health expert called Professor Harrington is reviewing the Work Capability Assessment at the present time and I beleive he is to report close to Christmas with recommendations (if any) for change. Apart from that you can google Professor Paul Gregg, he was something to do with designing non medical aspects of ESA. He is clear that many people to be found fit for work are not suited to the JSA regime There are some expert voices who can see the disaster under development but politicians hold the cards . The CAB sat tge WCA is not fit for purpose, Danny Alexander (in the documentary) clearly had concerns, about a week ago the MP for a place called Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire spoke out quite effectively about the issue.
When you write to your MP's or to newpapers, dont forget ton do a bit of namedropping like I have above. It can help to influence the more independently minded of people
Hi there, I have sent 2 e-mails to my MP now...one a standard e-mail from the net and another personal one from me....I have yet to receive an acknowledgement
IMO it is always a good idea to let our MP’s know how we feel about such matters as “medicals”
Like you belvederebabe I emailed a lot of MP’s about the new rules that the government are hoping to bring in for people on DLA and I got a reply from about half of them!
Don’t let it put you off emailing MP’s in the future it is important that we make our feeling known.

I do think we do need to keep contacting MP's regarding propsoed chnages. They need to hear stories that tell it how it is- how you would be affected by changes.
