I was awarded the High Rate Mobility componant of DLA in April due to being blind and meeting the required criteria

at the moment we have a Vauxhall Meriva and I find it very easy to get into as I also suffer with Ostheo Arthritis

we are thinking of having a Vauxhall New Meriva 1.7TD SE, diesel, automatic, my questions are
does anyone have the New Meriva if so how do you rate it

also is there any things I should be aware of whith having a mobility car as this is my first time in entering the scheme ( any pitfalls etc )

No pit falls at all, the meriva is nice, but you should not take anyone words for it and try it out your self, only you will know if it's what you like.

I have been looking into different vehicles as well. Please check back in after your wife test drives them and give me your responses.

Hand controls are free these days.

But the only way you will know about a vehicle is to go down and tests it.

Once the biggest returns for car were due to not trying out the car and then finding it was to high to low, I know of cars who have been returned because the person could not reach the foot pedals.
