Just remember deanJ, it is not the name of the condition that you have but how it affects your daily life that they need to know about.

    Good luck

Basically the old PCA you could state how things affect you and you get benefits this has now ended, the WCA which you would have gone through is about proving you can do a job it does not matter if your educated enough for that job all they do now is-state your able to work.

What you have to do is explain your problems, but you must back it up with medical evidence.

Your problem for example I take morphine for pain, they would say yes so your pain is under control.

You say your diabetic with medication, they say OK thats under control.

You say your asthmatic and taking medication and sprays they would say problem solved.

Your shoulder is actually an area you might be able to prove you cannot work, but only if your consultant is willing to write up a full report stating your shoulder is so bad it would be impossible for you to use.

Your bad back what is the reason for your problem slipped disc or Nerve damage or is it non specific, again your consultant will need to tell them how it affects your life saying you cannot work.

This sadly is the new ESA.

I know I'm going through it now, I have had the WCA.
