    ESA or pension credit?

I am a 60 years old man, currently receiving ESA with the work-related activity component.
I am disabled with a progressive disease and my wife is also disabled.
can anyone tell me what the pros and cons are of switching to pension credit?

Firstly if you are entitled to pension credit you can get your council tax and any rent[or part of ]paid for you. You will not have to attend any work focussed interviews at the jobcentre. You might also be entitled to disability premiums on your pension credit. There is a benefit check line on the direct government site under pension credit you can see how much you could be entitled to.
