Wheelchair- large wheels or small wheels

Next year I will probably need to hire a folding wheelchair for a cruise to the Baltic. We have been before, so I know how uneven and cobbled some of the footpaths etc are. My question is what kind of chair is most suitable for my husband to push on these kinds of streets? Many thanks.
    Irene.

Looking at it practically the large wheels should be better as they are less likely to get stuck between the cobbles. Bumpy ride for you whatever.
