I have just spoken to my sister who tells me that a customer in one of her shops, has a husband on incapacity benefit, he suffers from arthritis. He had an IB medical in feb. of last year and was given a review date in 5 years i.e in mid 2015.I have no reason to believe this is not correct. The person on ib is only in his forties, so not near retirement, he does not live in my area.
As all the transfers to esa will have been completed by then, or so the government tells us, how can this be right, or is this another question with no answer? i realise they can change review dates but why bother?
A friend of my family was given a review date, a couple of years ago, that took him well beyond retirement agei certainly am!!

i certainly am!!
